Anastasia Zdravkovic

Intern Counsellor, Play Therapist

About Anastasia

I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients of all ages and backgrounds feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My work is grounded in evidence-based, person-centered, and strengths-focused practices. I draw from a variety of approaches – including attachment-informed and mindfulness-based strategies – and tailor my work to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe that healing happens through connection and aim to bring curiosity, empathy, and authenticity into each session.

Outside of the counselling space, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, hiking, and practicing yoga and Pilates.

If you’re looking for support, I’d be honoured to connect with you.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or simply in need of space to reflect, therapy can offer meaningful support. I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can show up just as you are. With curiosity, compassion, and care, I’ll work alongside you to explore what’s getting in the way and what might help you move forward. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being

My approach is integrative, rooted in person-centered and attachment-based theory, while drawing from neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and play-based modalities. I believe healing happens in safe, attuned relationships where clients feel seen and supported in their full humanity. Whether I’m working with children, parents, or adults, I collaborate with clients to build on their strengths, understand patterns, and foster emotional and nervous system regulation. My work is informed by current neuroscience, developmental theory, and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience and unique way of being in the world.
