Counselling is meant for everyone, and I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I want to honor the courage it can take. This is a safe place for you to explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, life stress, or relationship difficulties, it can be helpful to have someone by your side. I strive to support you in a way that feels safe and non-judgmental. I welcome clients from all walks of life and will tailor my approach to suit your needs.
If you do not see your area of concern but are still interested in working together, please reach out!
I always wanted to help people, and I realized that I could through counselling. I acknowledge that I have had many privileges others have not been afforded, and I want to give back to the world in the ways that I can. At the same time, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know what it can feel like to be different. I strongly believe in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive practice and I strive to continue learning how to best support my clients. I also operate from a person-centered perspective, which means that I will work collaboratively to find what works best for you. I encourage you to share your authentic experience with me so that we can be on the same page. You as the client know yourself better than anyone else, and together we can work toward your goals.
A bit more about myself, I graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2023, and I’m currently attending Yorkville University. I am a student member of BCACC and CCPA, and upon graduation I intend to register as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Clinical Counsellor (CCC). I am also pleased to share that I am trained in level 1 Lifespan Integration Therapy, and am able to offer Lifespan Integration Therapy at this time. In my free time, I enjoy playing board and computer games, listening to podcasts, spending time with my family and dogs, connecting with nature, and playing dungeons & dragons.
