Life is full of transitions and changes that can be hard to face alone. It could be anything – school, career, family, friends, love, or even moving to a new place. I can provide you with extra support through such changes, where you are given a safe space to share freely with me as I help you move forward in your life.
Everyone is made up of unique parts that make them whole, from their life experiences, culture, gender, and even their familial background, which I am respectful of when working with you. I hope to use these parts to help you work on your resiliency and belief in yourself.
Stress can present itself in a multitude of ways, such as physically, mentally, or emotionally, spilling over into multiple areas of your life. I would like to help you learn to manage such stressors appropriately, resulting in you becoming a happier and more fulfilled self.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and also have my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have previously obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and have extensive experience working with marginalized populations from diverse backgrounds, including those with undiagnosed mental health challenges, addiction issues, family fragmentation, and identity issues.
I work with children, youth, and adults, as well as all genders. I like to use a variety of techniques, such as mindfulness, person-centered, Alderian, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I aim to provide you with a safe space where you can share without judgment and feel heard and respected for your life experiences and needs. The journey to healing is a collaborative process that I hope to help you navigate successfully.
