Clinical Counsellor, Play Therapist

About Joe

I am a compassionate, thoughtful and empathetic therapist who has a passion for helping others and will walk side by side with you on your mental health journey. With over 25 years of experience of supporting children, adolescents, adults and families, I bring a deep understanding of human behavior and a genuine passion for helping others to my counseling practice. My approach is person-centered, focusing on empathy, active listening, and empowering clients to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. My extensive background in education has equipped me with the skills to support not only children and adolescents but also adults who are seeking to develop resilience and thrive in their personal and professional lives.

I offer both one-on-one and small group sessions, tailored to address individual social-emotional challenges. My therapeutic approach integrates Solution Focussed and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy as well as other evidence-based techniques to help clients develop practical strategies for managing their mental health.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions, struggling with emotional difficulties, or seeking to improve your relationships, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain new insights, and move towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
