About Mary

My approach aims to empower and motivate clients in the therapeutic process. I believe that people can reach their full potential under the right conditions. I hope to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express your feelings and unpack your story. I collaborate with my clients to better understand their life challenges and to develop goals that help you move towards where you want to be.

I completed a Bachelors in Psychology, Counselling and Human Development from Simon Fraser University and have pursued my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. My specialty areas included Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Family Systems, and overall Family enhancement. I incorporate elements of Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindful Based Practices.
