Sometimes what brings us to therapy is not a single crisis, but a quiet sense that something is not sitting right. Therapy offers a pause, a place to untangle what feels heavy, confusing, or stuck. It is a collaborative space where we explore the experiences and emotions that have shaped you, often in ways you may not have fully noticed. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and understood. From there, we can build insight and practical tools that help you move forward with clarity and intention.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I spent three years working as a youth worker, supporting young people through the complexities of adolescence and early adulthood. Currently, I serve as an Inclusion and Awareness Coordinator within a police service, where I focus on fostering connection, cultural understanding, and psychological safety within the community of Surrey.
In my counselling practice, I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I also integrate principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), allowing for a flexible, individualized approach. This blend supports both practical skill-building and meaningful self-exploration. My intention is not to offer a one-size-fits-all model, but to collaborate with you in discovering what tools and strategies resonate most with your unique needs and goals.
