Anne Chronnell, RPC, RTC, HBCE

Associate Counsellor

I hold a gentle, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for you to release and process through your tough time. I support individuals who find themselves stuck and seek to uncover how they can move through, and ultimately out of, their current pain. I believe in a strength and compassion focussed therapy. I believe we are who we are as a sum of our journey, but we don’t have to be ruled by that. We lose our way, we lose our power, we lose our Self on this journey of Life. We can learn to control our narrative and find our way to our home Self. However s/he presents. Our mindset can help us overcome, and persevere, and ultimately enable the freedom to thrive. It is in our internal landscape that we can find our path out from even the darkest of times. As an integrative counsellor, I’ll collaborate with you to explore what’s affecting your current life and discover what would be helpful for you to move beyond difficult, and often painful, experiences using a variety of therapeutic techniques. We are all so unique, and so too will your healing journey be unique to you! Starting the path to healing can be daunting which is why I strive to create a warm and safe place for you to lay down your burden without fear of judgement. When you’re ready, I’ll walk beside you as you begin the journey of healing, exploring, and (re)discovering your Self to a stronger, calmer, empowered You. I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT #3317), and a Registered Professional Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellor’s Association (CPCA # 4417). And most recently I am thrilled to share that I am now a Gold Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator – enabling, educating and empowering parents to have a stress-free, fear-free birthing experience. Whether its your first baby, or your fifth, HypnoBirthing is about bringing back the birthing experience to your desires & design and our philosophy and technique teaches you how to do just that no matter where, or how, you choose to birth. My education and professional background is rich and varied as I have pivoted with life’s challenges; a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (drama) from the University of Calgary, a global career in finance, and lastly the Applied Psychology and Professional Counselling diploma from Kelowna College of Professional Counsellors bringing me full circle into the exploration and support of humanity. The following list below are my areas of specialization:
