About Domonique

Everyone experiences challenging times in their lives. Taking the first steps towards healing can be difficult, but I would be honoured to support you along your wellness journey. I offer support to all ages, including children, youth, adults and elderly individuals. I also proudly offer neuro-affirming and 2sLGBTQIA+ affirming care. I am passionate about social justice and advocacy.

I prioritize providing a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions. My counselling approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a commitment to empowering individuals on their journey toward personal growth and well-being.

I have completed my Bachelor of Arts degree with a psychology major; with additional coursework focused on sociology and anthropology. These courses provided me with a deepened respect for the systems’ perspective that I have integrated into my counselling approach. I am currently working toward my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

My areas of specialty include:

  • Anxiety
  • Self-esteem
  • Neurodiversity
  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • 2sLGBTQIA+ clients
