Nutritional journeys with food are one of the most personal adventures we can partake in and it is my pleasure to work with clients to meet and exceed their goals for overall wellness through educated diet and nutrition.
I have been a Chef for over 20 years. I have worked in every area of the culinary profession from running large 4 diamond Hotels as an Executive Chef to opening Casinos and educating at the collage level. I am most currently working in Retirement Living.
Living in the world of food has many advantages; however, it does come with long hours of stress and poor diet. I had no direction with my diet or control and subsequently, I gained a large amount of weight and my body and mind suffered greatly for many years. Over the past 2 years, I have changed my direction in the culinary profession and have adjusted my focus towards nutrition. I am a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) and hold the title of Nutrition Manager. I used this education to correct my own struggles with weight and have lost and maintained close to 100lbs of weight loss through REAL nutrition. I do not believe in fad diets or quick fixes. I support the process and celebrate the inner changes we have as we become healthier and more focused on the whole process of wellness.
I am currently in process for my Holistic Nutritionist Certification and I look forward to furthering my ability to help others attain their health and nutrition goals.
Nutrition is personal and the journey needs to be customized. The tools and support we gain along the way help us become a more confident person. I look forward to working with you.
